Persons

This gallery includes people I've met or observed on the street, some who requested a portrait, and others part of my regular coverage of civil rights and civic gatherings.

Street Photography

Scenes I have encountered on the streets of St. Louis and elsewhere. People and their behaviors, interactions, and preoccupations. Letting the lens capture a moment of humanity.  Appllying the art of noticing.

Flora and fauna and more.

An attempt to capture the beauty of nature all around us from local parks to wilderness to backyards. Plants, trees, animals and more that are so integral to our environment, but are often taken for granted in our busy lives.

Architecture and Design

Buildings new and old, homes rising and falling, exquisitely designed furniture and artworks – what makes our work inhabitable and habitated.

Places

Here are placds – locations – that have caught my eye...where the view is striking or something is occurring that picques my interst and has a story unfolding.

Scenes from my window during Covid 19

We were all couped up, hiding in a way, avoiding a nasty virus that was killing our friends and neighbors all around us. So, from my window, I worked to capture the world as I saw it, although a very limited view for months on end. The result was telling.

Some of my published work...

Here are a few of my photographic efforts that have appeared in puboished works. While my 40-plus years as a corporate communications professional generated volumes of materials in print, displays, packaging, branding, and broadcast, I've limited this selection to those where my photography was central.
