Working with several activist groups in the St. Louis area, these galleries reflect the work of citizens secure their civil and human rights against racism, economic prejudice, reproductive rights, and to end police violence, Fatal State Violence, among other issues.
Under the First Amendment: Images of free speech in Saint Louis, Missouri
Images documenting the many issues causing the unheard of St. Louis, Missouri, to take to the streets and venues to be heard under the protection of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
A solo photographic exhibit about the personal and often courageous ways individuals gather to give life to the First Amendment — through protest signs held on park lawns, speeches echoing on city streets, and quiet moments of reflection in neighborhoods and public squares where they organize, assemble, and question the status quo.
18 dramatic and inspiring images spanning 18 years of non-violent protests, civil disobedience, dissent, protest, and lawful assembly to air grievances and shine a light on injustice. This exhibit has not yet been scheduled for a particular venue.
