Follow Chuck's photoactivism  of protests and actions as activists exercise their First Amendment Rights and organize for a more just democracy.

These are only a few of the events occurring in St. Louis, Missouri since August 9, 2014 when an unarmed Michael Brown Jr. was killed by a Ferguson police officer, setting off a nationwide movement to stop illegal police killings. 

In time, immigration and changing other injustices – such as closing the Workhouse (jail) in St. Louis have ensued.

In the interest of transparency, Chuck is a volunteer photographer for ArchCity Defenders, a local non-profit, holistic law firm serving the poor and disadvantaged in St. Louis on civil and criminal matters. He also serves on the board of the Left Bank Books Foundation, which provides books and literacy education to some St. Louis public schools. And, he has tutored with the Bryan Cave Leighton Paisnere law firm reading tutoring program at Sigel School in St. Louis..

August 29, 2019 For Our Future STL rally at St. Louis City Hall, where activist groups and citizens assembled to call for greater public safety in the wake of shootings that have taken the lives of over 12 children in recent day. City leaders have responded with old solutions that are not working and are turning a deaf ear to suggestions that would reduce poverty and violence.

Sept. 6, 2019 Protest at Richmond Heights, MO police department for the recent killing of black man who was fleeing police.

Sept. 28, 2019 Pot Bangerz and Mama Cat Daniels holds a block party for the homeless, hungry and poor at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown St. Louis providing meals, haircuts, clothing, toiletries and other assistance. Feed the body, feed the soul.

June 24, 2022 Rally to protest the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade, at Planned Parenthood's St. Louis clinic in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, MO.

August 9, 2023 The ninth anniversary of Michael Brown's murder on Canfield Drive in Ferguson, MO, was both a somber and joyful event as dignitaries, activists, relatives, and neighbors gathered to honor and remember Michael Brown. They also rededicated themselves to continuing the fight for equality, dignity, and hope. 

September 20, 2023 Remembrance of Isaiah Hammett in downtown St. Louis at the Carnahan Court House to honor his memory and tragic death at the hands of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Force six years ago.
