Instead of people, when I photograph someone, I think of "personhood". People are decidedly the most fun and challenging photographic subjects. Behind many of these faces are great stories about the individuals, what they are doing, and how the image was made. Some of them are well known; while others probably should be. All people are important, unique, and worth getting to know..Photography is a great doorway to that experience. We are family!
