The café workers of Kaldi's Coffee have voted to unionize, but the company is ignoring their application. They have even hired union busters to set up one-on-one meetings twitch Kaldi's workers to dissuade them from joining a union. So, at one of their cafés, off-duty employees, friends, union organizers, relatives and allies — all stopped by between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 to flood the store, order a coffee, mingle, and talk. They also wore their union apparel from shirts, hats, buttons and more. They did not disrupt the business, but they made a statement: if they can fill a store with business, they can also empty one.
