Unionization rally at Kaldi's Coffee headquarters in St. Louis

When a problem at work arises and a single person complains, little is usually done. But when the entire workforce recognizes a problem and complains a company is more likely to respond. This is the case with Kaldi's Coffee, voted Best Coffee Chain by USA Today and a very successful and growing company. Their Cafe employees have made the first step in unionization, but to date Kaldi's has not responded. They are mute. So employees, union sympathizers, and Kaldi's customers joined together to rally in front of the company's headquarters… to be vocal and to be recognized, hopefully to start proceeding for collective bargaining in the near future. This also is what democracy looks like.
