Hands Off protest in upscale St. Louis suburbs of Brentwood and Clayton
At the intersection of I-64, Brentwood Boulevard and Eager Roads where several suburban communities converge, and on a cold, rainy day, crowds of citizens took to the streets for the first Hands Off protest. Standing four and five deep for over a quarter mile of these busy roads surrounded by shopping centers and office buildings, the crowd was loud and well-behaved. Ages ranged from retirees, to families, to college-aged men and women. Their signs said it all – and spanned almost everything that Donald J. Trump and his gang of Cabinet members, Congressmen, and Elon Musk have done since January 20 to dismantle the government and our democracy. Take a look.
